Dedicated Ice

2021 Dedicated Ice Fundraising Campaign

Let's Raise the House!

What is the current status of the campaign?

To date, the club has raised approximately $375,000 through donations and allocations from the operating budget. With pledges of over $45,000 to come, we will have raised over $420,000.

 What is the goal?

To be in a dedicated ice facility in time for the 2022 Winter Olympics in order to take advantage of the surge in interest that accompanies the Winter Games.

Why do we need a dedicated ice facility?

Our ability to grow has been hampered by poor ice conditions, extremely limited ice time availability, and frequent changes in location.  Having our own facility would allow us to expand and attract new members.

What kind of facility will it be?

The new facility will ideally have space for three to four sheets of ice. The Facilities Committee is looking into several different options and opportunities.

How much do we need to raise?

The Board has estimated that we will need at least $500,000 to get into a facility with minimal amenities, and that future fundraising efforts will be required to fund warm room amenities such as tables and chairs, kitchen/bar facilities, and technology equipment.

How will we achieve our goal in 2021?

The Fundraising Committee will leave no stone unturned in investigating all possible sources of funding to raise the difference, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and special events BUT we expect that a large proportion of the funds will need to come from member donations so here's the deal - TO RAISE THE HOUSE WE NEED OUR MEMBERS TO GIVE, AND GIVE BIG!

The following sponsorship recognition levels, along with associated benefits, have been established. All benefits listed below are non-transferable.
