Youth League

Youth Curling

Looking for a sport that’s a little different—and a lot of fun? Curling might be just the thing!

Curling is an Olympic sport played on specially prepared ice, where players slide granite stones toward a target while teammates sweep to influence speed and direction. It combines strategy, balance, teamwork, focus, and friendly competition.

Circle City Curling Club offers a Youth Curling Program for ages 12–18, designed to introduce young athletes to the sport while helping them build skills, confidence, and friendships. No previous curling experience is required. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

2026/27 Youth League

The 2026/27 Youth League is offered in two separate sessions—Fall and Spring. Youth may register for either session or join us for both.

Fall Session: October 10 – December 19, 2026
Spring Session: January 9 – March 27, 2027

Each session gives young curlers opportunities to learn the game, develop their skills, and play alongside other youth in a fun and supportive environment.

Weekly Schedule

Thursday Practice

4:30–6:00 PM

Thursday afternoons focus on instruction, skill development, strategy, and practice.

Saturday Games

Saturday mornings give youth curlers the opportunity to put those skills into action through games and guided play.

Saturday times may vary by week, so families should refer to the current league schedule for specific game times.

League Fees

Thanks to the generous support of Community in Motion of Madison County, reduced registration fees are available for Madison County residents.

Madison County Residents

$25 for the first child
$17.50 for each additional child

Non-Madison County Residents

$50 for the first child
$35 for each additional child

We want every interested young curler to have the opportunity to participate. If the registration fee would create a financial hardship for your family, a coupon code is available on the registration form to waive the league fee—no questions asked.

What’s Included

Each Youth League session includes:

  • Two curling opportunities each week—Thursday instruction/practice and Saturday games.
  • All curling instruction and equipment.
  • A complimentary Circle City Curling Club Student Membership.
  • Access to member practice times and member-only events.
  • The opportunity to participate in other club leagues with coach approval.

New to Curling? You’re Welcome Here!

No previous curling experience or instruction is required.
