What is Discord?
Discord is a free communication app for text, voice, and video. Think of it as a mix between group chat, email, and phone calls — all in one place. It’s organized into servers (like groups), and inside each server are channels (rooms for different topics).

Common Problems & Fixes
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| No sound / can’t hear | Check your mic/headset; make sure it’s not muted and selected in Settings → Voice & Video. |
| Can’t see some channels | You may not have access yet — ask an admin for the correct role. |
| Too many notifications | Mute channels, set to “Only @mentions,” or mute the whole server temporarily. |
| Video/screen share not working | Check camera/screen permissions and close other apps using them. |
